A practical RFQ checklist for wall protection systems
A useful wall protection enquiry identifies the system, locations, dimensions and accessories. A total running length without corner and end details often produces incomplete quotations.

Selection considerations
Separate handrails, crash rails, corner guards, panels and door plates into schedule lines. Give each line its BULDX code or describe the required geometry if the code has not yet been selected. Add marked-up elevations for complex corridors.
State wall construction, finish, quantities and the required installation responsibility. Ask for a coordinated list of brackets, caps, corner pieces and fixings. Request supporting documents for project-specific performance claims and make unresolved items visible in the comparison sheet. Evaluate complete packages so one quotation is not cheaper simply because accessories were omitted.
Before you specify or order
- Split products by function
- Count accessories separately
- Request a complete installation package
