Tactile Warning & Guidance Surfaces
What is the difference between tactile warning surfaces and guidance strips?
Warning surfaces signal an area requiring attention, while guidance surfaces indicate a route. Warning studs and directional ribs serve different purposes and are not interchangeable. Review substrate, installation, visual contrast and destination-country requirements before setting locations and dimensions.

Request a quotationHow should a tactile route meet an entrance mat or floor transition?
Review the complete route, including doors, changes in level and the boundary of the mat. Maintain the intended distinction between guidance and warning patterns, and assess contrast against the installed floor. Show the selected BULDX tactile components and their fixing method on the coordinated layout. Compliance depends on the project’s applicable requirements and approved route, not the product name alone.
