Matching industrial joint height to slab and screed depth
Compare joint height against the layer in which the profile is installed. Overall floor thickness and the thickness of a separate screed are not necessarily the same dimension.

Selection considerations
Mark the base level, slab level and finished surface on a section. Identify whether the profile belongs in the structural slab, screed or repair zone. A profile that is too tall can interfere with finishing; a shallow one may not suit the intended detail.
Check how installation supports establish the top edge and whether adjustment is available. Account for local level changes without improvising cuts that alter the approved section. Record the selected height in the product code schedule so a similar family member is not substituted during delivery.
Before you specify or order
- Identify the installation layer
- Coordinate the top edge level
- Record height for each floor zone
