Reviewing Profile Appearance Under Final Room Lighting
Final room lighting can change the apparent prominence of a metal trim. Review reflective profiles under the proposed lighting before accepting an appearance that was judged only in daylight or on a desk.

Selection considerations
Place a representative sample beside the actual adjoining finishes. Review it from normal standing and seated positions, including approach views along the corridor or counter. A directional brushed finish may read differently when the sample is rotated or seen under a grazing light.
Compare the sample under the lighting scenes the operator intends to use. Record the fixture arrangement and relevant finish references. Keep this as an appearance review; it does not establish slip, fire, corrosion or structural performance for the product.
Approve the combination of section, finish and setting-out that achieves the intended result. Retain photographs and the physical sample for delivery checks. If lighting or the adjacent surface changes later, revisit the review instead of treating the original sample approval as independent of its surroundings.
